CRi Partners with QI Folio to Advance Strategic Growth and Continuous Improvement
Buffalo, NY
Buffalo, NY – Community Residences, Inc. dba CRi is a nonprofit organization that empowers individuals with mental health needs and developmental disabilities through care, dignity, and respect, and community involvement. To promote its growth, CRi champions innovation in all facets of its work—such as investing in cutting-edge technology like QI Folio offers.

QI Folio is a software platform designed to improve Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) specifically in the health and human services sector. It utilizes the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) methodology, enabling organizations to manage projects, track performance indicators, and assign and document tasks—all within a single system.
CRi aimed to utilize a platform that supports strategic goals through goal tracking to elevate its business development functions and to improve visibility of the agency as a whole. Their priorities included boosting operational efficiency via centralized management, fostering cross-department collaboration, and ensuring scalability across other departments. A key element was integrating the PDSA framework—a four-step method for testing and refining ideas that promotes continuous improvement and learning.
“QI Folio provides us with real-time insights into key performance indicators, projects, and strategic goals—helping us make smarter, faster decisions. It’s enabling CRi to manage complexity with greater clarity and confidence as we grow,” said Ron George, Executive Vice President of Development & Chief Administrative Officer.
“We are excited to have CRi join our partners in automating quality improvement. The QI Folio platform will help them leverage technology better and meet reporting requirements for value-based reimbursement and outcomes,” said Tristian Keelan, CEO of QI Folio.
