Therapeutic consultation provides expertise, training, and technical assistance in any of the following specialty areas to assist family members, caregivers, and service providers in supporting the individual. Behavioral consultation is a key part of our TC services.
These services may be provided, based on the individual's plan of care, for those individuals for whom specialized consultation is clinically necessary to enable their utilization of waiver services & who have additional challenges restricting their ability to function in the community. Therapeutic consultation services may be provided in the individual's home, in other appropriate community settings, & in conjunction with another waiver service.
These services are intended to facilitate implementation of the individual's desired outcomes as identified in the individual's plan of care.
