What is the CECA Foundation?
The CECA Foundation was established by Matthew and Rosemary Lawlor. Inspired by the expectational care Matt's mother, Mary Lawlor, received in her later years, the Lawlor family collaborated to create the foundation in 2013. Profoundly impacted by the quality of care they had witnessed firsthand, the Lawlor's wanted to honor the compassion and companionship provided by nurses, housekeepers, porters, and other healthcare staff.
Driven by their desire to honor these unsung heroes, the Lawlors and their sons, collaborated to create the CECA Award Program. It's a beautiful testament to the transformative power of kindness and the importance of recognizing meaningful acts of care and dedication.

Here at CRi, caring for our community is not just a job; it's our top priority and passion. The CECA Award is our way of shining a spotlight on the caregivers who make a difference every day. Whether clinical or non-clinical, every member of our team plays a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for those we serve.
The CECA Award not only provides public recognition for outstanding staff members but also includes a quarterly $250 award as a token of appreciation for their exceptional service. What's more, if a person you nominate wins a quarterly award, you will receive a $50 bonus for your referral!
How to Nominate
Nomination for the CECA Award is open to all CRi team members, families, partners, & members of our community. You can share your story and nominate a deserving caregiver online at cecaaward.org/Guest/CRi, scan the QR code below with your mobile device, or fill out a nomination form at our front desk or Human Resources Department.
