CRi is a community-based nonprofit organization with a focus on providing personalized resources to people with developmental disabilities & mental health needs. We believe in serving people within the communities in which they live, & have done so for almost 50 years.
Our History
For nearly 50 years, CRi has has been focused on meeting the needs of individuals by working with families to provide individualized support, day programs, & residential services.
Our Team
CRi has created a caring, professional culture based on values that keep us dedicated to a strong sense of service to the local community. We are a team, working together to innovate with respect for the people we support.

Developmental Disabilities Services
CRi provides individuals with developmental disabilities with choice, respect & independence. We do this through specialized services, home & community support, & the love of caring, qualified staff.
Mental Health Services
CRi provides a full complement of evidence-based mental health services with a goal of recovery for people with mental health needs.
Youth Services
CRi provides independent living support through housing to at-risk youth who are homeless, precariously-housed &/or aging out of foster care.

Celebrating Caregivers: Introducing the CECA Award

At CRi, we believe in the power of compassion, dedication, and the profound impact of exceptional care. That's why we are thrilled to share some heartwarming news with our community.

CRi is proud to announce a partnership with the CECA Foundation to launch the CECA Award, a program designed to honor and celebrate the outstanding care, achievements, and successes of our dedicated team members at CRi. The CECA Award, pronounced as "see'-ka," is more than just a recognition program; it's a heartfelt tribute to the caregivers who go above and beyond every day to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support.

The inspiration behind the CECA Award stems from the Lawlor family's experience. Matt and Rosemary Lawlor were deeply touched by the exceptional care Matt's mother, Mary Lawlor, received in her later years. They witnessed firsthand the compassion and companionship provided by nurses, housekeepers, porters, and other healthcare staff, which had a profound impact on their family.

Driven by their desire to honor these unsung heroes, the Lawlors, along with their sons, collaborated to create the CECA Award Program. It's a beautiful testament to the transformative power of kindness and the importance of recognizing meaningful acts of care and dedication.

Here at CRi, caring for our community is not just a job; it's our top priority and passion. The CECA Award is our way of shining a spotlight on the caregivers who make a difference every day. Whether clinical or non-clinical, every member of our team plays a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for those we serve.

Nomination for the CECA Award is open to all CRi team members, families, partners, & members of our community. You can share your story and nominate a deserving caregiver online at cecaaward.org/Guest/CRi, scan the QR code below with your mobile device, or fill out a nomination form at our front desk or Human Resources Department.

The CECA Award not only provides public recognition for outstanding staff members but also includes a quarterly $250 award as a token of appreciation for their exceptional service. What's more, if a person you nominate wins a quarterly award, you will receive a $50 bonus for your referral!

We are incredibly excited about this partnership with the CECA Foundation and the launch of the CECA Award. It embodies our commitment to recognizing and celebrating the exceptional dedication and care demonstrated by our staff members every day.
