Governance Committee Chair Eva Loser Recognized in Leadership Center of Arlington's Lead Class of 2026

Community Residences, Inc. (dba CRi) congratulates Eva Loser, Chair of its Governance Committee, for being recognized as a member of the Leadership Center of Arlington’s Lead Class of 2026. Ms. Loser is part of a cohort of nonprofit, business, and government sector leaders who have played an important role in the Arlington, VA community.

The Lead Class of 2026 will begin on Thursday, September 25, focusing on inspiring the diverse network of established leaders to transform and support Arlington, VA.

Eva began her involvement with CRi by volunteering on the Governance Committee, where she helped strengthen board practices and oversight. She now serves as Chair of the Governance Committee and is an active member of the CRi Board of Directors.

Eva Loser is a distinguished legal and policy expert with more than 30 years of U.S. government experience, including 25 years of military service. She is recognized for her deep expertise in international law, national security, nonproliferation, counterterrorism, and maritime law. Throughout her career, she has held key legal positions across the Department of Defense, U.S. Navy, National Security Council, and the U.S. Intelligence Community.

In addition to her government service, Eva has contributed to the academic and policy sectors, notably serving as a Research Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, where she published on Latin American political and security affairs. She has also developed and delivered specialized legal training for military attorneys and operational forces, effectively translating complex legal frameworks into practical, mission-ready guidance.

Eva holds a Juris Doctor from The American University Washington College of Law, a Master of Arts in International Relations from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and maintains TS/SCI eligibility. Her leadership, interdisciplinary insight, and extensive interagency experience make her a sought-after authority on legal and policy issues at the nexus of national security and international law.

In addition to its 2026 Lead Class, the Leadership Center of Arlington has also announced its Ignite Class of 2026. The mission of the Leadership Center of Arlington is to connect, develop, and inspire leaders for personal growth, civic engagement, and community impact.

CRi has 13 residential programs in Arlington, VA today, and was founded in 1975 by a group of Arlington families, faith groups, and government leaders.
