CRi offers medical supports by a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in Medicaid Waiver homes to prevent hospitalization or admission to a nursing facility or ICF-IID facility. Examples of skilled nursing care include intramuscular injections, insertion of Foley catheters, dressing changes, & teaching diabetes care. Continuous medical supports are considered Private Duty Nursing & are determined on an individual basis.
