CRi is pleased to announce the addition of three members to its affiliate boards.

Chantilly, VA

Community Residences, Inc. (dba CRi) is pleased to announce the addition of three members to its affiliate boards. D. Edward Greene and Dr. Ramesh Mazhari have been welcomed to the CR Foundation Board and Andrew Pariser to the Community Havens Board. All three board members are slated to serve for a three-year term, which began on July 1, 2025.

 

Board Member nominations are curated from community outreach throughout Virginia, Maryland, and the DC metro area. This outreach strives to recruit and maintain a board representing diverse perspectives to advance CRi and its mission with effectiveness and integrity.

Edward Greene is Managing Director and Chief Underwriter at Citi Community Capital, where he oversees the nation’s largest affordable housing lending platform, managing more than $7 billion in annual lending volume. He brings over 25 years of experience in real estate finance, risk management, and strategic leadership, having held executive roles at Freddie Mac, Lument Capital, and Greystone. Edward holds a J.D. from Albany Law School, an M.B.A. from Clark Atlanta University, and an Executive Master’s in Leadership from Georgetown University. An active nonprofit leader, he has served on several boards supporting disability access, affordable housing, and military families. He is passionate about mentoring, diversity and inclusion, and promoting equitable access to housing.

Ramesh

Dr. Ramesh Mazhari is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at George Washington University, and a nationally recognized expert in interventional cardiology. Dr. Mazhari’s research interests include addressing disparities in cardiovascular care, and women's health with a particular emphasis on improving access and outcomes for underserved populations.  A dedicated educator and mentor, she is actively involved in leadership roles within George Washington University and the American College of Cardiology. Her commitment to innovation, education, and equity in cardiovascular care aligns closely with CRI’s mission to advance research and improve patient outcomes. She attended Iran University of Medical Sciences, and pursued further specialty and subspecialty training at George Washington University, and Johns Hopkins University. 

Andrew

Andrew Pariser is a seasoned real estate professional with Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc., where he brings a client-focused approach and strong market expertise. Before transitioning to real estate, Andrew earned a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Johns Hopkins and spent several years in one of the nation's largest school systems, supporting students with disabilities in achieving academic and post-secondary success. His unique background in education and real estate reflects a deep commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and community development. He previously served on the Young Leadership Council of The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore and is now eager to contribute as a first-time board member with CRi. Andrew is particularly passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities as they transition into adulthood and is inspired by the power of community to create lasting, positive change. 

The CR Foundation Board fuels CRi’s mission by leading fundraising efforts, cultivating meaningful supporter relationships, and guiding the growth of our endowment. Through strategic outreach and personalized engagement, the Board expands our donor community and strengthens the financial foundation needed to sustain and grow CRi’s impact. 
 
The Community Havens Board oversees all of CRi’s real estate holdings and is responsible for identifying, acquiring, and maintaining safe, comfortable, and supportive homes for individuals in our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (ID/DD) and Mental Health programs. Through thoughtful stewardship and long-term planning, the Community Havens Board ensures each property meets the unique needs of those we serve—helping CRi provide stability, dignity, and community for every individual.
