CRi Receives High Quality of Service Accolades
December 6, 2024
In 2018, CRi clinical leadership undertook a process to identify qualify indicators utilizing the National Core Indicators as well as the Recovery Oriented Systems Indicators (ROSI) to ensure integrated measures that address services delivered. CRi chose to highlight quality from the perspective of the individual supported and, in the Fall of 2019, implemented our first person-centered quality survey in an effort to capture the voice and choice of the individuals supported, with quality being defined as meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
As a provider of support services to those with disabilities, CRi is pleased to announce the overwhelmingly positive responses from individuals supported in their needs and choices. Senior Director of Clinical Services, DeAnne Mullins, shared, “We are proud of the valuable work we do at CRi and creating a survey in support of our goals of providing choice, respect and independence each day seemed a meaningful and mission-forward approach to provide a glimpse into the thoughts and feelings of the individuals we support. We are delighted with the results.”
Results of our Fall 2020 survey included responses such as 90% of individuals feeling that their supporting staff respect them, 87% feeling that they make their own choices, and 87% feeling satisfied with the support and services received. Client quotes included, “my staff respects me”, “I feel valued and respected as an individual beyond my disability”, and “I think it matters a great deal that our opinions are asked because otherwise a dialogue cannot be created”. The insight provided by individuals supported will also assist CRi in working toward improvements in such areas as creating additional opportunities for making new friendships and increasing opportunities for integration within individual residential communities.
