Tsion is a Registered Nurse with more than 17 years of diverse healthcare experience. Guided by compassion and purpose, Tsion discovered early in her career that nursing was more than a profession; it was a calling to serve, advocate, and uplift others through genuine care.
Her journey began in long-term care facilities, where she provided hands-on patient care and developed a deep respect for the elderly and their families. She later served as Director of Nursing in a memory care setting, ensuring residents received individualized, dignified care grounded in empathy and excellence. Tsion’s background also includes roles as a Case Manager for D.C. Medicaid and Medicare recipients, supporting children with special needs, and as a Utilization Review Nurse and Discharge Nurse Manager in managed care, where she worked closely with the Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) to strengthen care coordination and patient advocacy.
Though she has held many leadership roles, Tsion’s heart has always been drawn to work that directly touches lives. At CRi, she has rediscovered her purpose, advocating for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and mental health challenges. Tsion believes CRi’s mission is rooted in family, treating every individual as one of our own and ensuring that everyone who meets CRi feels part of a caring, supportive community. She is deeply committed to upholding CRi’s mission of respect, independence, and inclusion, empowering each person to live their fullest life with dignity.
