Lila Corey

Senior Director of Clinical Services

Lila credits her work ethic and desire to help people for her advancement over 18 years at CRi from Counselor to Senior Director of Clinical Services. She learned her managerial mindset from her late father, and she realized during college psychology classes how she could engage her passion for supporting vulnerable individuals. While finishing her Master of Counseling degree, Lila joined CRi to be part of a big-picture mission-driven organization that helps 700 people annually.

After joining CRi in 2007 and being supported to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2012, Lila has in turn clinically supervised 15 CRi employees towards their own clinical licenses and certifications. Over nearly two decades, Lila has enhanced CRi’s programs by managing services for people with intellectual disabilities, severe mental illness, chronic homelessness and substance use in residential, transitional, and community settings, to help individuals progress through recovery into more independent lives.

Lila has been recognized as a manager with experience in both developmental disabilities and mental health, and has earned respect as a leader and advocate for the staff and individuals in CRi programs. CRi leaders chose Lila to receive the Caregiver of the Year Award in 2025. As a Senior Director of Clinical Services, along with ensuring clinical excellence, Lila plans to develop empowering environments for CRi staff and the people we serve. She values the positive culture that she has helped build at CRi, from facilitating a drum circle at CRi headquarters to hosting Thanksgiving meals and summer barbeques that have benefited the mental health of staff and residents.
