Since earning his Masters degree in Psychology, Keven has dedicated his decades-long career to helping vulnerable youth and adults to address problem behaviors with sustainable solutions. Training in Behavior Analysis led him to a client-focused career that started as a Counselor helping to solve family crises, followed by many years aiding people with significant behavioral health concerns as well as people with IDD. At the start of 2026, the shared values of community and empowerment drew him to CRi’s day support program.
Keven has focused his career on person-centered skills-building and helping people find better ways to deal with the challenges in their lives.. From working with runaway youth to adults living with schizophrenia, Keven’s work has incorporated many forms of communication training. These include role play with parents of foster youth, as well as behavior skills acquisition that enabled people in state facilities to transition from psychiatric medication to community-based services. He brings broad experience to CRi, having worked with local and state governments, health corporations, families, and vulnerable people themselves.
Keven looks forward to strengthening the capacity of CRi’s day support staff, and he plans to use his expertise in behavior change to guide program improvements. These include working to develop a program in which staff and individuals are engaged, happy, relaxed and safe. He is pleased to join CRi as it begins implementation of its new Electronic Health Record system, understanding the importance of collecting data in real time, to see small but intentional and positive changes in individual behavior.
