Community Residences inc, (dba as CRi) has a Foundation that manages an endowment to care for community home residents and others within its broader community. A general operating support gift in your will or trust enables you to make a significant difference beyond your lifetime.

Name CRi in Your Will

Below is sample language to discuss with the attorney/preparer of your will. If you decide to include CRi in your will, please let us know so that we can celebrate your generosity.  

Specific Amounts

The CR Foundation can be named beneficiary of a specific amount or asset from your estate:  

I give and devise to the Community Residences Foundation (EIN# 54-1753414), located in Chantilly, VA, the sum of $___________ (or asset) to be used for general operating support where it is needed most.

 

Residual Gifts

A residual bequest is a gift to the CR Foundation after your expenses and other estate directives are paid:  
 
I give and devise to Community Residences Foundation (EIN# 54-1753414), located in Chantilly, VA, all (or state a percentage) of the rest and remainder of my estate to be used for general operating support where it is needed most. 

 

Contingent Gifts 

If one of your specific bequests cannot be fulfilled, it is possible to name CRi Foundation as a contingent beneficiary: 
 
If (insert name) is not living at the time of passing, I give and devise to the Community Residences Foundation (EIN# 54-1753414), located in Chantilly, VA, the sum of $ _______ (or all or a percentage of the residue of my estate) to be used for general support.
