Shrivastava Family to Serve as Presenting Sponsor for Autumn Evening of Enchantment Fundraiser

CRi is delighted to announce that The Shrivastava Family has generously chosen to serve as Presenting Sponsor for our upcoming fundraiser, An Autumn Evening of Enchantment: Enhancing & Enriching Lives. This gift will significantly impact our mission as we continue to advocate for fairness, human rights, dignity, and comprehensive support services for individuals with disabilities and mental health needs.

The Shrivastava Family's dedication to CRi is a testament to their vision of creating a more inclusive and equitable society. Their support of CRi over the years, including Sumeet Shrivastava's time serving on the Board of Directors and sponsoring numerous philanthropic events and efforts, highlights the family's deep connection to our mission. As champions for change and advocates for inclusion in the disability community, their partnership has been instrumental in advancing our work and we are so very grateful for their friendship.

Sumeet Shrivastava currently serves as Chair of the GMU Foundation Board of Trustees and the Past President of George Mason’s Alumni Association. He plays a pivotal role in advancing the university's mission through strategic leadership and philanthropy. With a passion for education and lifelong-learning, Shrivastava has been instrumental in fostering community engagement and supporting initiatives that drive academic excellence and innovation. His leadership extends beyond the university, as he is also a recognized advocate for inclusion, particularly in the areas of disability and mental health.

Shrivastava’s contributions to the Northern Virginia community have not gone unnoticed. In October 2023, he was honored with the Community Leadership Award by the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia. This prestigious award is given annually to individuals who demonstrate outstanding community service and a steadfast commitment to improving the quality of life for all Northern Virginians. CRi is proud to have such a distinguished and dedicated partner in our efforts to enhance the lives of those we serve.

The Shrivastava Family’s generosity will allow us to expand our reach and amplify our impact, ensuring that more individuals in our community receive the support and resources they need to thrive. We are deeply grateful for their partnership and their unwavering belief in our mission.
