At CRi, we have so much love and appreciation for the families who trust us to care for their loved ones. CRi is a rare and life-changing place - a place where people can feel at home, embraced by a house full of heart.
We’d like to share a story about one such family in our community. For Deanne and Andy, finding a place that felt like home for their adult son, Sam, seemed almost impossible. Sam, now 25, had aged out of the public school system and was living with his family, who worked to find the right support services to help Sam thrive as an adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Since then, Sam has thrived. Thanks to CRi’s exceptional staff, who cultivate independence and encourage growth, he’s gained new skills, developed friendships, and found joy in daily activities. The boundless enthusiasm and professional expertise of CRi staff have yielded dozens of success stories like his.
