Google Steps Up as a Presenting Sponsor of SummerFest 2024!

CRi is thrilled to announce Google as a Presenting Sponsor for SummerFest 2024. This exciting partnership reflects Google's dedication to making a meaningful impact in local communities and supporting initiatives that promote inclusion and accessibility for all.

SummerFest, hosted annually by CRi, a cornerstone organization supporting adults with disabilities and mental health needs in the Northern Virginia community, is a celebration of diversity, inclusion, and the incredible individuals CRi supports. This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever, thanks in part to Google's generous support. Attendees can look forward to a day filled with music, a photobooth, delicious food, carnival-style games, and opportunities to connect with fellow community members.

In a statement, Google expressed their enthusiasm for partnering with CRi and highlighted the importance of supporting organizations that champion the needs of individuals with disabilities. "We are honored to stand alongside CRi, whose work supporting disabled adults across Northern Virginia helps ensure that this vulnerable community is able to truly experience what we all deserve: a robust, fulfilling life of purpose," said Arienne Thomas Plourde, Senior Program Manager of Global Social Impact at Google.

CRi's mission aligns closely with Google's values of accessibility, inclusion, and empowerment. By providing a wide range of services and programs tailored to the unique needs of each individual, CRi enables people with disabilities and mental health needs to live independent, fulfilling lives within their communities. Google's sponsorship of SummerFest 2024 underscores their dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of marginalized communities. Their generous support will enable CRi to expand its reach, enhance its services, and create even more opportunities for individuals to thrive.

"We are incredibly grateful to Google for their partnership and support," said Kelsey Dewispelaere, VP of External Affairs at CRi." Their generosity will allow us to continue our vital work of empowering individuals with disabilities and mental health needs to live life to the fullest."

As we look forward to SummerFest, we invite the entire community to join us in celebrating diversity, inclusion, and the boundless potential of every individual. Together, with the support of partners like Google, we can create a world where everyone has the opportunity to shine.
