🌷2019 Spring Campaign🌷
Dear CRi Family,
Happy Spring! Each year I look forward to the
natural transformation from a dark and chilly winter to a warm and sunny
spring. You may have noticed in the past year; CRi has also transformed in many
ways. From updating our look through a rebranding process to expanding our
reach and services, I am excited to see the individuals CRi supports transforming
their own lives along the way.
As spring arrives, activity increases in the greater Washington Metropolitan area, more people are out and about, and there is so much opportunity for increased community engagement for all of us. Longer daylight hours encourage increased recreation and exploration, providing greater balance and wellness for everyone.
As you may know, CRi is exceptionally proud of our garden program and the positive impact gardening has on overall wellbeing. In addition to gardening, there are many activities those supported by CRi would love to have the opportunity to participate in – from horseback riding, to swimming, to attending arts and crafts fairs and live performances. Your support of CRi helps to provide these unique opportunities to at-risk youth and those with mental health needs and developmental disabilities. These recreational activities have the potential to improve symptoms of depression, serve as exercise, develop life skills, and improve nutrition.
This spring, please consider continuing your advocacy for individuals with disabilities by making a donation of $50, $100, $250, $500 or more. Your commitment to and investment in our mission will make a positive impact on the lives of many and assists CRi in developing, maintaining, and expanding our programs and services.
Thank you for your continued support and friendship – and HAPPY SPRING!
