CRi has three signature events each year that raise awareness about & funding for the supports & services that we provide. Please consider joining us at one of these exciting community events -- We'd love to see you there!
Make a BIG Impact & BASH Stereotypes! On March 5, 2019 join CRi at Top of the Town in Arlington for a festive Mardi Gras-themed evening celebration. All proceeds from this event will go to support of at-risk youth, women & men with mental health needs & developmental disabilities. Food, drinks & dancing will transport you down to the Bayou, all for a great cause. Nutalusa, our event band, is an accordion & fiddle fueled Washington, DC band that plays an energizing mix of music from the Louisiana countryside & other places around the world. Buy your ticket to the Big Easy Bash & BASH stereotypes & make a big impact in the local community!
Come celebrate the only program of its kind in the area, CRi's ArtWorks is a therapeutic, community-based program supporting recovery for adults with chronic mental health needs or developmental disabilities. During studio time, artists experience increased self-esteem & community support, & during this evening event, artists are able to showcase, and sell, their pieces. All proceeds from this event goes to CRi programs.
This community-fueled fundraising event begins with an inspiring send-off, and runners and walkers cross the finish line to a festive community celebration. Anticipate an energized atmosphere with families, friends, local corporate supporters, food, music and fun. Bring your family out to this community event, complete with race prizes, raffles, events for the kids, & MUCH more. Join CRi as we EmbRACE change & look to eliminate stigma in our communities!
