The purpose of an Emerging Leaders Council is to support CRi's mission while engaging in & encouraging the growth & leadership skills of the young professionals in the Greater Washington, DC area.
CRi is dedicated to providing personalized resources to people with mental health needs or developmental disabilities. The Emerging Leaders Council supports an organization doing necessary & critical work through fundraising for individuals with mental health needs & developmental disabilities. The Emerging Leaders Council plays an integral role in spreading awareness, raising resources & funds, & developing professional partnerships between CRi and the community. By joining CRi's Emerging Leaders Council, you will hone & develop leadership skills through hands-on experiences. You will learn more about the role CRi plays in the Human Services Industry & the impact made on the over 1,000 individuals we serve. Finally, you will meet an enthusiastic, engaged & passionate group of people & have fun.
Candidates for the Emerging Leaders Council can be any professional in the Greater Washington, DC area between the ages of 23-39. Applications will be submitted to the Philanthropy Department & selected participants will be reviewed by the Foundation Board. Members will be asked to serve at signature CRi events, raise critical funding or serve on a number of engagement committees. Members will also volunteer at CRi events, as well as reach out to their social & professional networks to further the mission of CRi.
